I would be very happy if someone would tell me what/where i can get some superior rune drops from, im not asking for a build or anything just an area with soloable mobs that drop armor with a chance for superior runes. I'd really appreciate it, and if you dont want anyone to know about your spot just PM it to me.

WHO CARES you can buy most of them for 120g at the most. I bought all mine for 500

But it would be nice to unlock them for PvP. Most people use their PvP characters as disposable characters, able to change them if desired. I personally don't want to spend 500g each time I make a new PvP character. although if you want them unlocked it would probably be faster to earn faction doing PvP and unlocking them that way.

Has anyone looked at the price for Sup Monk runes, 2-4 of those and you can get your guild hall =P

Pretty much any gold salvagable armor piece has a superior or major rune on it. It's not always certain. I do noticed that lesser enemies (like skeletons) don't drop gold items, but greater enemies (like necrid horsemen) do. Try your luck with those.

I've only goten a Superior Prot rune from drops. All the others I just used faction to unlock.

I have only found 1 superior (an elementalist rune) in 330 hours 12 minutes of game play. A good 315-320 being PvE with no idling. I have 2 unlocked because I bought an unided sup ranger for 3k. They really need to balance out the drops. I saw one guy in one of the fire ring missions get 5 gld armors and nobody else got anything except clean weapons that weren't even max dmg.

I got a sup rune outside Seeker's Passage. I have been playing the game almost daily since day-2 after release. So yeah, it needs more droppage

The only realistic way to unlock these runes is farming. I got 2-3 superior runes through natural play and about 10 through some form of farming (not to mention a ton of majors and minors.)

As for faction, don't use it early on. It is far more efficient to unlock via drops until you have a few specific ones left you can finish up with faction.

i had 2 superior vigors by the time i was in kryta with my second character, many other superiors and I didnt farm.

Yea, I've gone through 6 chars all the way and only have gotten a Sup Expertise and a Sup Curses, and I've loggen more that 600 hours from them all...

Now all I get is minor Curses in the rune drops.

Very odd.
